Change is inevitable in our lives. Make your changes positive ones.
My approach and services offer integral support throughout your life’s journey—addressing the mind, body, and spirit—in order to help you perform at your best.
Welcome!
My name is Duffy and I am a wellness practitioner with nearly 30 years of experience. I offer an integral approach to support you in your quest for health and optimal function. Whether your goal is optimal athletic performance or just feeling good while you do your busy life, my goal is to support you in every session in a way that is unique to your own personal quest for high performance and healing.
I have been in practice since 1994, and incorporate a variety of perspectives, including Sourcepoint Therapy®, Visceral Manipulation, and Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy. I am also a Certified Advanced Rolfer and a former member and chair of the faculty at the Dr. Ida Rolf Institute.
While all of these named practices inform my work, no one of them defines my work. Each session is unique to the individual and to the goals of that individual at that time. I work in series of sessions to work toward those goals, whether it’s alleviating pain, rehabilitating after injury, or enhancing performance.
My hope is that I can help you have more ease and comfort in your body, have a deeper knowing and connection with yourself, and to continually enhance the limitless potential within you.
Philosophy
Change is inevitable in our lives. Make your changes positive ones.
My approach and services offer holistic support throughout your life’s journey—addressing the mind, body, and spirit. I respect the wisdom inherent in the body as I work.
We all know that our bodies have some capacity to heal and my hope is that I can help you have more ease and comfort in your body, have a deeper knowing and connection with yourself, and to continually enhance the limitless potential within you.
This basic drive back to health is also available to us regardless of our acute and chronic injuries and pain.
My job is to help my clients regain access to that healing force so that they can get back to the activities they love. Steamboat has so many athletic and recreational possibilities, and with them comes the reality of injury. I help people get out out pain and back to performing—doing the things that we came to Steamboat to do. People come to me with their pain; neck pain, knee pain, back pain, and I bring them out of pain and back onto a path of success.
I work in conjunction with your other health care professionals. I have found that Rolfing supports the goals of chiropractic, physical therapy, acupuncture, pilates and yoga.
